Building Up...

Since last we spoke I’ve been in and out of the Park more regularly than a skunk farts… with Barcelona first (the whole Park came along as there is safety in numbers) then on to Martel in the South of France for a pilgrimage and some duck fat!

I’ve rediscovered walking and the joys of the outdoors mixed with good food it can be some of the best activity one can engage in…

Architecture has flavoured my mind these past weeks – old, new and anywhere in between! There is just so much to look at in the canvas of man made beauty with soft and hard mixed with rock and metal to provide shelter and work spaces that can function as well as please the eye… buildings what’s the story with that?

Legally speaking things have developed – I am to become a Solicitor of the Park and Wales in the coming weeks… multi jurisdictional qualifications should mean a fatter duck on the table if you play your cards right…

Brighton saw new Labours conference and a few Park inhabitants well with chips and fish, the pavilion, the Doctor Who exhibition and angry homeless people bludging smokes in the street – what a place… If only the park were closer we could enjoy the pier more often…

The Park has also been graced with Damo from Damo’s creek – flowing with all its raging glory the creek has not failed to provide its usual refreshing waters… if only all of us could be that refreshed…

The Park is slowly emptying for the winter as the call of the wild beckons the hungry South towards Summer Bay and Pipers home cooking… Even I will taste the Koala pie some time in the early new year...

Next time Sardinia…
